AccessWorldSeminars has achieved its July goals for Life coaching. This is very exciting news. With this Goal reached we are now in full swing. With limited time for coaching remaining it is a challenge to continue to increase the individual sessions that i have been providing. It is not as possible to fit much more into my very busy lifestyle. Thus the need to adapt. I am now holding group sessions instead of individual sessions. These workshops will begin next month, and will give the opportunity for more people to be involved in the growth and development that AccessWorldSeminars offers. Individual life coaching will still be available, however as demand for the services that I offer continue to increase, it is becoming necessary to hold group life coaching sessions. If you are struggling with in-congruence, self-sabotage and bad habits or addictions, then life coaching is for you. If you are wanting to make your dreams and goals happen faster than you ever thought possible, then life coaching is for you. How much would it cost in your future to stay stuck? With the tools now available, the time to engage is now. Lets get rid of Fear, Laziness and limited self…
Money is a concern for so many people today. Money causes a real challenge as so many people have huge earning capacity, and yet money seems to slip through their fingers. I learned long ago that wealth creation does not come from income. Wealth creation comes from investments. It comes from saving and having money grow through investing. Most people have strong emotions attached to money, and for good reason. While you and I were growing up our parents also had very strong feelings toward money. While some of these thoughts and feelings were positive, many of them were negative. Your parents like mine may have said, “We can’t afford it”. “Money does not grow on trees”. “How are we going to pay for that”, “It’s hard to get ahead”. “It’s hard to make money” Most of us could do a little more money I am sure, yet some of these sayings that live in the unconscious mind could keep us from having more of this resource. For example, you may consciously believe that having more money will give you freedom to purchase the things you want and need, you may unconsciously believe that “it’s hard to get ahead”. You…
There are a great deal of people who believe that their product or service is great value. The value of any service or product is not always reflected in the sales. It is not always reflected in revenue or profits. It is not always received in the manner intended, neither does it always live up to its promises. The strength and value of a product or service is only as good as its ability to be measured, weighed in the balance and compared. When a product is tested against other products, this yields quantifiable results. For example a vacuum cleaner can be tested to see how much dust it collects. A cleaning product can be tested to see how shiny a surface becomes, and a knife could be tested for its ability to remain sharp after excessive use. A product can therefore be tested, measured, evaluated and reviewed. A service in the form of education or up-skilling is somewhat different. We have moved into the Information Age, and the value of knowledge has never been higher. Ideas and concepts, though intangible, hold the key to health, wealth, and success. Information cannot be quantified, weighted or tested in the same way…
When we learn of someone we know going through a tragedy, we often feel sorry for that person. If that person experiences great sadness and becomes despondent and depressed we often don’t know what to do. Sometimes the logical course of action, is simply to wait. After all, most people come through ok. What are two types of depression? One is a circumstantial depression. The second is a clinical or long term depression. A circumstantial depression is simply a depression that is attached to a situation or circumstance. It could be a result of a separation, loss of a loved one, economic hardship, adverse physical health of some other circumstance. The person experiencing this type of depression needs to pass through the situation. Just like any change in circumstance, there will be a period of adjustment. There may be a period of feeling out of control. A period of feeling empty, lost, lonely, hurt or rejected. The good thing about most circumstantial depression is that it passes. When the circumstance surrounding the depression no longer exists, or sufficient time has passed, or a new opportunity presents itself, the depression or the reason for the depression is no…
Met with a man today who wiggled his toe. That may not sound very impressive. It certainly does not sound extraordinary. It also may seem like a strange thing to be asking a client to do. The thing that made this situation both impressive and extraordinary is that this man is a quadriplegic. The Doctor told him about 7 years ago after an accident on a football field that he would never walk again. The Doctor stated that he would be unable to feel or move his legs. The first time I met with this man I taught him about creating anchors and we created a powerful anchor of excitement. Before we began he showed me the full range of movement that he had in his left arm. He stated that according to what the Doctors said, he should not be able to move this arm because of his condition. He stated that the doctors did not know how he could move the arm. He explained to me that one day he saw his little finger move. His hand and then his arm began to move and get stronger each day. When I came to visit he could lift his…
Currently the Olympic Games in Rio 2016 show us that the world is full of incredible athletes and incredible people. Within each chosen sport, the best in the world compete for Olympic Gold. Every time the Olympic Games are held records fall and new champions emerge. Most of the population sits comfortably in a lounge chair watching the events unfold. Watching other talented exceptional individuals in their moment of glory. We see an event that may last less than 10 seconds such as the 100 meter sprint. Other endurance event last several hours such as the marathon race. Whatever the event, and especially when the highlights are replayed, we only see a small representation of the actual event. What we do not see is the days, weeks, months and years of gruelling struggle that these athletes go through in order to prepare their bodies and minds for this level of competition. The countless hours of dedication to their chosen sport. The sacrifices made to private and personal life in order to even make it to the competition. The iron will, and determination to be number one. Earlier this week I delivered a motivational message to a small group. I posed…
The last 2 years have been the toughest financial setbacks of my life. Prior to this I was moving forward with a focus on saving and securing a financial future. In other words I was saving for a rainy day. When we have financial setbacks there is a tendency to feel like a failure. To feel that our positive efforts are not yielding fruit. When large amounts of effort yield little or no fruit, we begin to wonder if it was all worth it. There is a tendency to throw in the towel and kick up our heels and just give up. The storyteller informs us that if a tree does not yield fruit, it is good for nothing, and should be hewn down and cast into the fire. Many people work extremely hard when starting a new business. Some work 60 plus hours per week. They will make huge sacrifices in an attempt to establish and run a successful business. The biggest concern is the fact that 90% of businesses fail within the first 5 years of operation. For me, I worked out that I would earn almost as much money on welfare, as I am…
I did some neurological repatterning with a young man of about 24 years old. This young man had experienced a difficult childhood, and as a result he was struggling to cope with everyday life. He had made some choices that made it difficult for him to cope in certain situations. One of these situations was an unexpected or unwelcome touch on his body. This action would trigger feeling of betrayal that he described as a blue feeling that stated in the middle of his chest and shot into his arms and body. It left him feeling empty and angrily visually fixated on whatever he believed had caused it. I found this out as he was telling me about his challenges and I shouted “be healed”, while putting my hand on his head like a priest in the Pentecostal faith. (Neurological shock). His reaction was immediate and aggressive. He wanted to assault me and I could see the hatred he was displaying was out of this world. He squeezed his fists and his eyes narrowed on my. I just watched patiently. It appeared like he was fighting against the temptation to attack and kill me. He moved over away…
I have been thinking a lot about values over the last couple of days. Values are simply judgements about something. Judgements are split into two categories. The first is made up of things that you may like. The second is made of things you may dislike. The reasons or judgments about why you like or dislike that thing is a key in determining your set of values. For example; You may like exercise. You may dislike running. You may like eating fish. You may dislike Lamb shanks. You may like self-improvement. You may dislike religion. You may like computer games. You may dislike public speaking. Our likes and dislikes create feelings, attitudes and beliefs. These feelings, attitudes and beliefs result in us finding certain attributes or qualities important to us and our life. As we consider what is important in a certain area of life we are in fact thinking about our values. One of the best ways of eliciting values from a person is to ask the question. What is important to you in that area? As an example if you wanted to know what your physical fitness values were, you might ask yourself…
There is a genuine excitement that occurs when something magical happens. These are the times that I genuinely lose myself in the excitement and the complete euphoria of the moment is overwhelming. These moments do not happen every time that I make a conscious effort to get excited. I have found that I now have the capacity to create excitement whenever I choose. I did an experiment where I was able to hold myself at the peak level of excitement today for a full 10 minutes straight. It was not the jumping euphoria, rather it was a feeling of being in a peak state. Up until now I have found that the feeling of excitement generally only holds itself at a peak for about 30 seconds unless I keep the feeling energised by moving and jumping. Today I created excitement and had the feeling intensify in my body and held it at the same intensity by turning an imaginary control nob up to amplify the feeling each time I felt like the feeling was about to exit the peak state and begin to decline. By imagining this control switch I was able to keep the intensity of the feeling high…
