In 2015 I decided to create the project that I call Access World Seminars. I had no Idea what to do or how to get started. Have you ever had a desire or passion to create something great, yet were unsure how to get started? There was several things that I wanted to do such as teach seminars, run workshops and provide life coaching. The challenge was that full time employment meant financial safety and I was not willing to leave my day job due to my financial commitments. I wanted to ensure that I did things intelligently, and not in a way that could potentially lead to financial ruin. Furthermore my full time employment was fantastic, and I wasn’t ready and really did not want to leave. Part of me wanted to take the proverbial leap of faith, yet after discussions with my wife I decided to do a transition slowly and intelligently. If I began a business, I would need to work that business, and yet I had minimal business experience. I certainly had the confidence to succeed, and yet realised that I also needed the competence, and developing business competence would take time. Together we discussed a 5 year plan….
When I was 14 years old I had a stuttering issue. I found it very difficult to communicate, especially in large groups. The worst letters for me were W’s and R’s. I found this to be huge hurdle that was inhibiting my ability to make friends, enjoy social settings and enjoy the experience of being a teenager. It was around this time that I participated in my first seminar. It was a 4 day seminar that ran for long hours. During this seminar I learned about affirmations and the power of the mind. After this seminar I decided that I had the power to control my mind and speech by repeating the affirmation, “I speak clearly and well”. Each time I found myself with in group of people and felt that I had something to contribute I repeated the words in my mind, “I speak clearly and well”. I would then speak, and unfortunately much of the time my words would come out wrong. I would stutter and stammer and trip over the words. Often I was annoyed or frustrated at the inability I had to manage and control my tongue. Often I was frustrated with myself and would repeat…
I was with a friend at school and he really wanted to be a great fighter. I remember that he had a fight after school one day and that I showed him how he could win the fight using the power of his mind. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I still remember the look of confidence on my friends face as he marched out onto the battleground. I had shown him how powerful the mind could be, using the tools of a recent seminar. I was 14 years old when I attended an introduction seminar for “mind power” in Tamworth NSW with a man named Peter McMahon. A woman was at the front of the room with her back to a white board. The audience then came up with 20 random items for her to commit to memory. I was amazed at her skill and ability as in a matter of minutes she learned and repeated back all 20 items. Even more impressive was the fact that she had learned every item independently of any other item. What I mean by this is that she could immediately recall item 7 or item 18. Finally the audience was asked…
How do the rich, highly motivated and successful start their day? Tony Robbins starts his day with a routine that includes visualisation, a prayer of gratitude, and breathing exercises. Tim Ferris has a morning routine, and so do thousands of really successful people worldwide. Joe Dispenza has a 2 hour meditation routine. Wim Hof does breathing techniques and cold exposure as his morning routine. How about you? How do you begin your day? Having done a 2 hour morning routine for more than 18 months, I have created an effective way of creating success in my own life. This one routine has been responsible for keeping the transformation I had at the Tony Robbins seminar in 2015 going. Is it hard to consistently do a morning routine? How does one create an effective routine that puts one into a winning mindset, and also does the following. – promotes great health. – stretches yourself emotionally. – Gives purpose and creates meaning for life. – puts you into a winning mindset. Please join with me at my workshops and seminars, or look into some private coaching sessions so that we can discuss these key issues, and make plans and goals around implementing a more empowering way…
I recently read a quote from Albert Einstein that said, “Try not to become a man of success, but a man of value”. As I have considered this thought I comprehended that success does not come by focusing on success. Many people believe that income or wealth is the predominant measure of success. It is true that financial mastery is a measure of success, however there are many who are successful, or feel successful regardless of their level of wealth. After all, financial well-being is only one aspect of life. Therefore if one is successful in their finances, it is folly to automatically assume that this person is successful. Success in one’s career, does not translate to success in life. I have learned that money, relationships, health and purpose all play a role, and collectively contribute to happiness and success. If a wealthy person is unhappy the reason may be that they had leaned their ladder of success against the wrong wall. The rich suffer from anxiety, just like middle class and the poor. The rich suffer from depression, just like the middle class and the poor. This is because happiness is based on values, and if you focus on…
I had a brilliant student in one of my workshops state that there are only 3 ways to use time. He said that we can sell our time, invest our time or waste our time. As I have thought about this comment, and looked back on my life I realise that I have wasted so much time. In fact even when I was selling my time and investing my time, at the core often I was wasting my time. The biggest reason for this is my reluctance, or resistance to planning. Planning takes time. Planning takes mental focus and energy. Planning is a vital part of all success, and it is a principle that successful people understand and live. Planning is not only goal setting. It’s not only about the big picture. It is about all the small details. It is about the moments in our lives, and making those small moments count. Whilst I understand the importance of planning, often I feel like it is a waste of time because I am so focussed on taking action. However planning is an important aspect of ‘sharpening the saw’. My brother in law and I were using an electric chainsaw that was…
I had a conversation with my wife yesterday in which she described to me a friend that she has who is suffering with the effects of depression. She told me that her friend stated that she was standing in the kitchen when she suddenly felt negative chemicals release in her brain, followed by a flood of negative thoughts and feelings. She described how real these negative thoughts and feelings are, and how real the chemicals are. Furthermore it was the chemicals that started the whole process. If it was not for that negative chemical release she would feel different, and even happy. As my wife told me this story I reflected on the experience which the last year of my life has given. The last year of my life has been a positive and happy year for me and I thought about what had made it so. I also thought about the stark contrast in my experience of life, compared with someone who suffers from depression. This is a sensitive topic and I will therefore speak about it from my experience. I have suffered depression. I went through a divorce many years ago and I felt deeply the failure and…
AccessWorld Seminars. About the Company. AccessWorld Seminars was established in September 2015. The purpose of AccessWorld Seminars is to create an organisation that promotes EMPOWERMENT. AccessWorld Seminars was created as a vehicle to assist people to break away from the trance that many find themselves stuck in. This trance is the trance of DISEMPOWERMENT. AccessWorld Seminars utilises many teaching and training programs to accomplish this end. These programs consist of seminars, workshops, life coaching and re-patterning sessions. Seminars provide a ‘saturation environment’ in which transformation is the focus. There is something magical that happens when a group of people learn and grow together. Seminars are designed to build your belief, stretch your thinking, have you experience strong positive emotions and gain emotional mastery. When in a peak emotional state, your decision making ability is enhanced, as is confidence and self-belief. You will experience total empowerment and the ability to take full control of your life. Workshops are designed to teach you to use the tools and skills of coaching and Neurological Re-patterning. They are designed to give you practical experience in a safe learning environment, so that you can create change in your own life…
Why do I prime? Firstly I have a believing heart, and I have been told in the past by one I would consider wise that certain actions produce certain results. That seems very evident and almost third grade. When I hear a statement like this from one who is wealthy, happy, content and fulfilled, then I will listen and then model what they themselves have done. I attended an event in September 2015 with Tony Robbins. The event was unbelievable for me. I used so much energy as I really wanted to get an extreme amount out of the event. Therefore my investment was tremendous. I really do not think I have ever invested so much effort and energy to one event ever in my life. Considering my diet, I amazed myself and others in the auditorium. Others appreciated the level of energy that I displayed. Prior to the event I read the words to the effect, “one can be excited for a day or a week, but to be excited for 20 years will give you the life of your dreams”. I read this quote and immediately thought to myself. “Impossible”. I thought about the emotions that I experienced…
Met with a man today who wiggled his toe. That may not sound very impressive. It certainly does not sound extraordinary. It also may seem like a strange thing to be asking a client to do. The thing that made this situation both impressive and extraordinary is that this man is a quadriplegic. The Doctor told him about 7 years ago after an accident on a football field that he would never walk again. The Doctor stated that he would be unable to feel or move his legs. The first time I met with this man I taught him about creating anchors and we created a powerful anchor of excitement. Before we began he showed me the full range of movement that he had in his left arm. He stated that according to what the Doctors said, he should not be able to move this arm because of his condition. He stated that the doctors did not know how he could move the arm. He explained to me that one day he saw his little finger move. His hand and then his arm began to move and get stronger each day. When I came to visit he could lift his…
