Watched a documentary on health. It showed a man who was only 42 years of age. That is 2 years older than I am. This a man was successful financially and was happy for the most part. Yet his physical health was letting him down. He had let himself slide into a lifestyle that had caused him to move toward obesity.
Furthermore this man became heavily reliant on daily medication to help him to live a somewhat normal life. He had developed conditions, or diseases that needed to be treated and kept in check, and in his own words he described himself moving toward an early grave.
He was filming the documentary that showed him going on a 2 month food fast. For 2 months he did nothing except juice natural fruit and vegetables. That became his only sustenance for 60 days.
The results were remarkable, and he was able to see dramatic changes in his health. He lost more than 25kg in weight and was able to get off all his medications.
As he was filming and travelling around he talked to many people who liked what he was doing, however after describing that it was great for him, refused to take up his invitation to do likewise, even for just a short period of time like 10 days.
In fact, many people have information that suggests they should include far more vegetables and fruit in their diet, however lack the motivation or drive to actually do it. It is as if they are digging their grave with their own teeth.
Some addicted to easy meals or fast food declared that they want to enjoy their life. Others stated they lacked will power as eating well was too difficult. Others stated that they just did not care.
What was the difference that makes a difference? There was one man in the film that took up the challenge to do a ten day juicing fast. This American man was in a desperate and according to other family members was slowing committing suicide through his diet. He therefore began by asking for help. He then took up the challenge to juice for 10 days and ended up doing it for more than a month and completely turned around his own health, and was able to get off his medication also.
One thing came through very clear! And that was the benefits of eating living food. To make living food (fruit, vegetables and salad) the majority of what we eat. In this instance it was 100 percent for both these men. This proved that a diet rich in micro nutrients has tremendous health benefits such as lower blood pressure, reduced risk of disease and increased energy and vitality. What became evident is the fact that those who develop and maintain good eating habits avoid disease and sickness.
The most interesting about this whole thing Is the fact that many people on this planet know they are not eating well. The evidence is clear as we look at supply and demand inside the supermarkets where you shop.
During this documentary processed food was described as containing as little as 1 10th of the original nutrition of natural food. Therefore despite what advertisers say, the truth is that processed food (which makes up approximately 80 percent of our supermarkets) is slowly having an adverse effect upon the health of this nation.
